Upgrade Kit: Make Your ThermoStream Quieter
ThermoStream models with built-in compressors are great for temperature testing with forced air when no facility air supply is available. The new upgrade kit for ATS-535 and -635 models makes using a ThermoStream in lab and office environments much quieter.

Thermonics and MCT Join Forces
Thermonics, a member of inTEST Thermal Solutions with Temptronic and Sigma Systems has developed a portable, low-temperature fluid chiller for MCT Worldwide, Minneapolis, MN (mct.com), improving strip handler equipment efficiency. MCT is the leader in strip test handlers for the semiconductor testing industry. The new chiller improves overall equipment efficiency for those customers performing cold testing down to -55 ºC. The chiller has been integrated with MCT’s SH-5000 Strip Test Handler which is widely used for testing of both leaded and leadless semiconductor packages. By delivering low-temperature process fluid to the handler at a higher cooling capacity, the chiller cuts the handler ramp down time to a -40 ºC test point in nearly half the time of previous systems. An automatic fluid purge option eliminates manual draining, decreasing the time to disconnect the chiller from the handler and also minimizing fluid loss during changeover.

High Throughput Burn-in Chamber
A temperature chamber capable of long dwell times and wide temperature ranges (-55 to 500 °C) for Electro/Stress Migration, Time Dependent Dielectric Breakdown, and Hot Carrier / Vt Stability Tests.

Thermal Chamber Over Temperature Protection
How to set the bi-metal fail safe
Watch this video to learn how to set the primary over temperature fail safe on a thermal chamber. The chamber's primary fail safe is a bi-metal switch that protects the chamber from run-away or over temperature conditions. If an over temperature condition occurs, the bi-metal fail safe will trip and shut down the chamber's heating and cooling capabilities. It is factory set at 125 °C and must be adjusted for the chamber to operate at temperatures above 125 °C.
